Swatch book, a marketplace for designers’ raw materials, has announced a strategic partnership with the Taiwan Textile Federation to facilitate the use of digital technology in the sample management processes of Taiwanese textile suppliers (TTF). As a Government agency, the TTF has funded a wide variety of initiatives, including participation in international trade shows, the organisation of roadshows and exhibitions and the completion of market research.
This initiative will improve Taiwanese textile firms’ ability to respond to consumer demands and compete internationally and help the textile industry in Taiwan to go digital. Eco-textile innovations, which combine high technology, ecology, functionality and life aesthetics, are constantly being introduced by the industry.
Using the digital platform provided by Swatchbook, textile suppliers can work together with customers, partners and other suppliers to better manage their samples at lower costs.
Taiwanese textile businesses will benefit from the partnership by receiving access to resources that will allow them to promote their products and services in international markets, thereby increasing their visibility and potentially attracting new customers.
“TTF plays an instrumental role in helping Taiwan’s textile industry to maintain its position as a leader in the global textile market, and the partnership with Swatchbook will support this mission by helping textile companies in Taiwan to modernise their operations and improve their efficiency.” stated Jason Eric Brown, Chief Business Development Officer.
